Bunker Street Studios is a film and photography studio available for hire, located in the town centre of Wānaka. Its purpose is to provide a functional studio space that creatives in the region can treat as their own.
The Studio is made up of a few spaces;
The Cyc Room - featuring an 8m x 5m x 3m corner pure white infinity wall, lighting rigs, RGB LED panel lights (your choice of over 190 wall colours), as well as pulldown backdrops for greenscreen and black out.
The Martini Room - a lounge style meeting space with a smart TV for viewing rushes or finished films; containing comfy seating, whiteboard, drinks fridge, tea and coffee equipment and other helpful meeting room facilities.
The Changing Room - a small changing space with floor length mirror, steamer, clothes rail and storage.
The POD Spot - A dedicated podcast recording space with all the equipment you need to record.
The Studio also has an extensive range of other lighting and rigging kits available, plus high quality teleprompter, projector, moveable whiteboards, fans, as well as a growing selection of props and catering equipment and connections to many other suppliers for anything else needed!

Full Day Hire (10hrs: 7am - 5pm)

Half Day Hire (5hrs: either 7am – 12pm or 12pm – 5pm)

Lighting Inclusions:
A standard booking of the studio includes use of the in-house lighting kit (3x Aputure LS mini 20’s) mounted on the lighting truss system, and the ceiling mounted RGB LED System.
Additions:

Additional Studio Lighting is available and can be added to any booking

We also offer a “Pre Lit” service where we will get the lighting set up and ready to go prior to your arrival so you can make the most of your shoot window

Studio Crew are also available for hire to assist during your booking

As well as optional pre production support; including catering and location styling!
